What is Theology on Tap?
Theology on Tap was developed and formed by the Archdiocese of Chicago Young Adult Ministry Office as a program of evangelization, catechesis and social outreach for young adult – men and women in their 20s, 30s, and early 40s. Theology-on-Tap is opened to singles, married couples, and single parents.
When was Theology on Tap Formed and Purpose?
Theology-on-Tap was formed and built over 20 years around a strong sense of invitation and hospitality. Second, it was developed and directed toward Catholic Young Adult. Finally, by design, the program teaches the Catholic faith and traditions of the Catholic Church. Though the program is designed for Catholic, however, young adults of all faiths are cordially invited to attend Theology-on-Tap.
What is the Object of Theology-on-Tap?
Theology-on-Tap draws young adult to openly talk, discuss, and raise questions concerning their Catholic faith in a relaxed atmosphere, i.e., Restaurant or Coffee Shoppe. Second, Theology-on-Tap seeks to provide quality speakers who can address contemporary young adult issues in faith-filled, pastoral and practical way.
